I've been pretty busy the past few days shooting the new east side commercial and editing bits of it as I go. I should have it finished within a week from now.

I don't have to much time right now so I won't bother captioning so here are some photos from my camera from today at the shop and when I stopped by the skateboard rally.

Hey Jesse,

I heard about the Lee Breen story on the news here in the Tdot - crazy!

I thought I would pass along something you might find helpful. I'm not sure if you know, but Vancouver actually allows skateboarding as a mode of transportation. Here's a link to the bylaw details:

http://vancouver.ca/ctyclerk/cclerk/20050315/a8.htm

The Vancouver Skateboard Coalition ( http://www.vsbc.ca/) was the organization that pushed VanCity to get the bylaw passed.

West 49 (oh, btw, I'm from West 49, my name is Cindy Mielke and I run the marketing dept. at our head office in Burlington) helped fund the VSBC when it first started, so I know a few of the people there, perhaps you're interested in talking to them, to gain some insight on how they handled it with their city officials, to get the bylaw passed? If so, don't hesitate to email me at cindy@west49.com or call me at 905-336-5454 x282 and I'll hook you up with them.

And either way, whatever happens... Good luck in fighting the fight! Skateboarding is NOT a crime!!!!

Thanks for the info Cindy.

Also Chaf unfortunately there is no current skateboard coalition in Fredericton to be the voice of the skaters other than the individuals themselves.
